Our Story

Moreton Dental has a rich history of delivering outstanding dental care, originally established over 80 years ago. Over the decades, the practice has been shaped by highly skilled clinicians who focused on personalised care in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

In the mid to late twentieth century, practitioners including Mr Peter Ellis, Mr John Booth, Mr José Balaguer-Morris and Mr Brian Shearer helped develop Moreton Dental into one of Oxford’s foremost practices. In 2002, Robert and Catherine Simmons took over the practice, continuing its strong patient-centred ethos and commitment to quality care.

In recent years, Vinit Gohil and Kajal Gohil have joined the practice, further expanding our expertise and reinforcing our multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach to patient care.

Today, our team remains true to the founding principles of the practice — providing excellent, modern, patient centred care  in a friendly, relaxed setting.
