Special interest in Endodontics

Kajal graduated with Honours from Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ Dental Institute at King’s College London. Following graduation, she worked in general dental practice alongside a part-time clinical teaching post in the Restorative Dentistry Department at King’s College Dental Institute.

She was subsequently awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) from The Royal College of Surgeons of England. During her time in hospital dentistry, Kajal developed a particular interest in endodontics (root canal treatment), leading her to undertake an MSc in Endodontic Practice at Queen Mary University of London, which she completed with Distinction.

Kajal is also a Visiting Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London, where she teaches postgraduate MSc students.

Kajal keeps abreast with the latest advances in endodontic care and is an active member of both the British Endodontic Society and the prestigious Langham Endodontic Society

Kajal’s research interests include the outcomes of endodontic treatment and the use of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) to assess factors that may influence the complexity and outcome of root canal treatment. She has published research in the journal Clinical Oral Investigations on the use of CBCT in endodontics.

Kajal combines her postgraduate training and academic involvement with a calm, patient-centred approach to providing high-quality endodontic and general restorative dental care.
